Citter CSR Programme

NANBAN & NANBAN MITRA OBJECTIVES

Our initiative is in helping businesses within 100kms of Chidambaram with work force to develop their business in the construction industry, where local workers are unavailable or can’t deliver the required work. We are also working in the domain of agriculture in supporting farmers.

Our CSR programme is also looking at skilling workers to bring about better work efficiency and quality to deliver in their individual capacity. We are aspiring for greater dignity and equity of industry for engaged informal workers and their families in India and mainstream the aspiration that responsible business equals successful business. The most critical needs and vulnerabilities of the workers have been translated into six human centric outcomes spanning wages, health, safety, gender, access to entitlements and future of work. work and business are to create positive change in places it matters most, focusing on sustainability, applying ethical practices and push for innovation.

To achieve these, working with local businesses and farmers who need workers to fulfil their obligation in delivering their work and projects is essential.
