The Course
There will be every alternat day live steaming class, interaction in a fully interactive environment. These 10 hours of Citter Prana yogam practice will help to preserve your physical, mental, and spiritual health.

The founder Director Dr.Venkatchapathy who retired as Director of the Yoga Science Center of Annamalai University, Chidambaram is a traditional highly respected Yoga Asan (Guru) in India. He has taught over 300,000 students in the science of yoga of which a number of them have done their ‘doctorate’ as research scholars in yoga and yoga therapy from the university and now well established in their subject of yoga.
The Citter Tradition and its expertise in yoga is known only to a few. This is an ancient Tamil teaching and is pre-Vedic that takes you to the very roots of the subject and its practices given by great mystics such as Citter Tirumular.

Pre-application requirements
Please install Zoom (preferred) for our virtual classroom to attend the live sessions. You should have good internet connectivity. It is never late to start anything and so to for the yoga classes too. It does not matter what’s your age, your profession, your religion, it’s for all to preserve your physical, mental, and spiritual health. This training is perfect for beginners and also for advanced practitioners so that they realise the true nature of yoga and its outcomes to correct their journey in yoga.
How the course works
There will be one hour of class each alternate day for 10 days. Why alternate days are because you have time to practice and contemplate on what you have learnt and bee taught so far. The process is gradual. Classes will be conducted in Zoom as a virtual classroom but Chidambaram Tyoga Kurukulam (Our Traditional Teaching centre). We will give you all the details on how you can join in once you have joined the course. Please note that this training is not for any kind of certification but to make it as a beginning step with for you in your yoga journey.
Timing of sessions Chidambaram (GMT+5:45)
As this programme is designed for those in the US, the standard time will be Central Time US 7am to 8.30am accommodating all in the US. For those outside the US, if they wish to join us are welcomed to even if the time difference can be different if you are comfortable with the timing.
Daily schedule
In this 10-hour online yoga training session, the protocol that you will follow looks like this:
Day 1: Introduction to Citter Yogam / what is Citter Yogam, who were the Citters and what Prana and its practice is all about.
Day 2: Warm -up exercise and into Prana
Day 3: Prana Practice Level 1
Day 4: Foundation exercise in Prana practice
Day 5: Prana Practice Level 2
Day 6: Core strengthening
Day 7: Prana Practice Level 2 Continued
Day 8: Prana Practice Level 3
Day 9: Ways of using Prana
Day 10: Way of practicing Prana yoga at home daily and devise a routine that you can use to practice prana yoga at home.

The basic practice brings about to help calm the mind and brings about an increase of energy for the body. It brings about balance of mind and to rewire gene.
Our pranayanam 10 day on-line is designed for training in the proper practice of pranayamam constituted by the ancient ones that they used, to attain the highest states through the human body.
Through the Citter Tyoga Kurukulam teachings, you will learn and work on the correct technique for deep breathing. The Programmes are in different levels to build you up in your practice and knowledge of the subject with correct practice. The 10ndays with us will support you on the expertise in applying pranayamam techniques for health and wellness.
The training will prepare you in how to use breath’s calming, energizing, and balancing effect on the body and mind and to begin in a daily practice as a lifestyle. This includes basic set of techniques, training and practices.
Unlike other online yoga courses, our yoga classes are interactive, meaning you can communicate with the master, ask questions, be corrected by the master.
All 10 hours are contact hours. You can practice in your home as your wish. This 10-hour online yoga training class will undoubtedly be a goldmine for you as it will give you much-needed insight into the spiritual aspect of life. Also, you can sign up meditation training as well if you want to go depth of meditation.

This course is held online. Tyoga Kurukulam is based at Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, South India. (GMT+5:30) and will live-stream via Zoom as a virtual classroom which you can participate from the comfort of your home.
